For ice cold winter weather it would be too thin for me personally. The seams are well finished and hardly noticeable. The hat has no defects. For my taste, the hat could fit a little looser (for comparison, my measurements: head circumference: 54cm). Luckily it's quite stretchy. Still, she looks very cute. The seller offered many other colors: from dark to light; from plain to bright. I would happily recommend the item and the seller. For the price and the fast shipping, you can't complain.
