The consistency is very pleasant, a kind of light gel. It absorbs well, smells good, very subtle. A small cosmetic spatula is included to hygienically remove the gel in portions. Of course, I haven't noticed any changes in the short time, but the skin feels good and I have a fresh feeling after application, although I personally don't massage the gel in, but gently pat/pat it in.
