The SV505C astronomical camera uses an IMX464 color sensor with 1/1.8 inch frame, resolution 2712*1538, and total pixels of about 4.2 million. Additionally, the active area of the IMX464 sensor is approximately twice that of the IMX462 sensor, allowing the IMX464 sensor to capture a wider area when using the same telescope.
The SV505C color CMOS camera has a QE of approximately 80%, very high sensitivity in the near-infrared region, and a very high signal-to-noise ratio in dark night environments. The SV505C planetary camera offers 8-bit and 12-bit RAW. Cameras are very sensitive to visible and near-infrared light. Very suitable for photographing details of solar system planets and lunar surfaces such as Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
Equipped with an ST4 guide port, it can be connected to the equatorial mount's AUTO GUIDE interface and use PHD2 guide software to control the equatorial mount's automatic guide. Adopts USB3.0 high-speed data transfer to capture planet, moon, and sun images quickly and efficiently. Compatible systems: Windows, Linux OS Raspberry Pi, Mac OS, Chrome OS.
The SV505C planetary camera uses HCG noise reduction technology, when increasing the gain, HCG mode is automatically turned on, which can significantly reduce readout noise while maintaining high dynamic range at low gain. Unique heat dissipation design keeps the camera operating temperature low. Long exposure during use will reduce noise to some extent and improve image quality.
At full resolution, the camera's frame rate can reach 93 fps and capture more frames at the same time. Shooting gaps can be used to quickly complete shooting, especially if the weather is not ideal.
