Using the button on the bottom of the microphone, you can choose between three levels of noise reduction or turn noise reduction off depending on the surrounding environment. A newly developed algorithm reduces noise from air conditioning and PC fans without sacrificing the high sound quality inherited from AT2020. You can also check the noise reduction settings at any time using the LED on the front of the microphone. A stable microphone output level can be maintained regardless of the volume of the speaking voice. When auto gain control is turned on, the LED on the front of the microphone lights up and the 80Hz high-pass filter is activated. It also comes with a pop filter AT8175 that effectively reduces pop noise when streaming, vocals, and narration recording.
A headphone output with volume control allows you to monitor the input audio directly from the microphone without delay. Equipped with a mixer adjustment dial that allows you to adjust the balance between the sound picked up by the microphone and the PC sound source. Turning the dial toward the PC icon will increase the volume of the connected PC sound source, and rotating it toward the microphone icon will increase the volume of the microphone. You can also adjust the volume of the connected headphone output using the headphone volume adjustment dial.
A capacitive mute sensor is placed on the body. You can quickly and quietly mute the microphone audio. Lights up in blue when recording sound, and lights up in red when muted.
